| Oh I know. Turn the volume to 11. 12 on occasion. Depends what kind of orchestra I'm listening to. If it's just music, then 10-11. If it's some kind of warfare, it definitely belong to 11-12. I love blasting the volume when it's after 12am. There's just nothing like the sound following the walls all around the house. Bathe myself in the sounds that emanate from these speakers. I better enjoy this week, because this is the only time I'll be able to do it.
Since Modern Warfare 2 comes out this week, I'm pretttttttttty sure that the volume will be set to 11 as long as I'm playing it. I figure it makes sense, right? I know I love playing Bad Company that loud. It just fucking deserves it! I love hearing each explosion, each crack of the gunshot go off in the distance. The louder it is, the more immersed I feel. I actually just finished playing Dirt 2 at that loud, and man. The sounds of the race just make me oobleyblblablye. I'm just glad that I still know when to stop, because..well, work still beckons.
I'm really hating this whole done with DST business. I mean, why does it have to get dark so fucking soon? It's dark as a cat's butthole by the time I'm done with work. I just feel so much safer that the only light comes from street lights, car headlights, and the very faint glow from houses and apartments. I feel so much safer.
I'm looking at new phones even though I'm not eligible for a new phone until late next year. I guess that's a double ended sword though, as I'd have to wait until the fucking END of the year to get a new phone, but then I would also be forced to wait to see what comes out. So the phones I'm currently ogling are the Motorola Droid, and the Blackberry Storm 2. Call me a sucker for touch phones, so..I'm a sucker for touch phones. I'm more tempted by the Storm 2, since it's Crackaberryalicious, but then it is Blackberry's first and a half foray into the touch screen land. Sure, the Storm 2 is a LOT better than the first, but what will next year hold? BB has just gotten into the touching craze and I bet within a year, they'll best it even more. The Droid though, eh..it's Motorola, and they suck. I know the Droid is getting brave reviews, which is good for Motorola..but..it's a Motorola. I really will just have to fondle them both properly instead of relying on reviews..which you know, are always great.
Other than that...yeah, things are fine. It's really cold right now, and I'm not enjoying it one bit so I think I'll jump into the bed and call it a morning.

| 23 years of breathing life. It's not a fantastical number, but it's still another year.
So what did I do yesterday? I woke up and was greeted to about a dozen happy birthdays on Facebook. Then went to work an hour early, and half way through Brendon and Carolyn showed up with their birthday present for me, which..was a BK Crown finely decorated, and two large fries complete with four or five packets of pepper, lol. Yeah..I'm a sucker for fries. Then Sephy came along and tried to hug me..the sick bastard. Theeeeen eventually Sephy left for worksies, and Davey came by and we all just hung around at work, with me wearing my birthday crown. Almost every customer asked what it was for, and yeah..I said it was for my birthday. The birthday crown gave me super powers though, because I made $17 in tips which is pretty damn awesome..I'd wear the crown every day and claim it to be my birthday except I think the customers MIGHT get a little suspicious of that. A little.
Soon enough it was time to close up shop, head home with my pirate gift card from the bosses, my crown and skate home. Dave had planned to pick up a pizza from Nizario's but that meant waiting until after 9:30pm, which I didn't really care for. As I was just chatting with Ashlee on Xbox Live. Having our usual lollerversations of sorts, even though she won't admit how much she loves the talks we have.
So Dave arrived with Carolyn, and with the all important pizza of course. They trotted down to the corner store to get some alcohol, then Bobby arrived. We started to watch History of the World: Part 1, and I got to have a small glass of hard cider (pear) which didn't get me buzzed or anything. Not sure if I got red, but I know someone did. I still don't like alcohol. Brendon arrived around the end of the movie. The night was still young and I was looking for another movie we could watch. I found Event Horizon, which Dave has never seen (until now) and Carolyn was sure of it to be a scary movie. Well..We all changed that easily with our heckling of the movie. So scary movies? PAH! You don't stand a chance.
The night started to come to a close though since the movie was over and we were just watching the news now, which was pre-recorded of course..and then we settled on King of the Queens..but eh..it was getting late, SOME of us appeared to be sleepy-weepy..so, some clean up..then we went outside and I was the only barefoot one..getting my nice long toes and feet dirty black. Just stood outside in a circle and traded blahblablah for a while.
But yeah..an exciting birthday? I dunno..maybe not..but I thoroughly enjoyed the company of friends. Watching movies, making scary movies not so scary. What are friends for, huh? It was a nice and good day. Thank you friends.

| Man did it piss gatos y perros today or what? Wasn't it great folks? It was great. Great for the Bay Area. Juuuuuuust fantastic. So today was a fairly fine day. Loved it. Why did I love it you ask? Well I'll tell you.
Today was the day that AT&T came by. I had scheduled a 8am-12pm, and they came at around 11am. Marvelous I say. Marvelous. I of course woke up at 10am, so you know..What do I care? Funny thing is that I was having a dream that the AT&T tech came, and in the dream he was a middle aged Asian man a little shorter than me, with a little beer belly, glasses, and a fairly thick Asian accent. So when the door bell rang (which I barely heard thanks to my blaring music) I was expecting a white guy, but sure enough..it was..AN ASIAN MAN with a thick Asian accent, but no glasses or belly...but he was shorter than me. Anymoo, he did his thing with the phone box and now it's up to Sonic to complete it all. It's taken me almost a month, a MONTH..to get Fusion. I blame AT&T still, completely. But Sonic techs are now due to arrive NEXT Wednesday. Man I want my Fusion..
But ON to the weather. It's fantastic. I love the rain. I loved watching the streets flood, the sewer drains clogging up and cars plowing on through the corners. The random Good Samaritan with his snow shovel (wait, snow shovel?) going from drain to drain in shorts, unclogging them. What makes it better is that the weather was so spastic in the beginning with the drizzle coming and going...then all of a sudden, it just starts puking rain. Wheeee! I was hoping I would see someone on a board hanging onto a car. There was enough water for that, right? It's such a shame though that the kids @ Roosevelt were out after the rain though. I wanted to see some kids get a good splashing from cars..Some of them deserve it.
Also, there were more cars being pulled over around that area for some reason..No idea why. Running reds or something I guess? *shrug* it was just odd though. What else..what else..A few cars would turn into the flooded curb, then realize, "Oh shit. That's water. My little sports car can't do that..let's go straight instead." That was pretty hilarious.
I really should check weather.com more..I got a ride to work from my brother, but brought my skateboard without knowing the future weather of The City..I didn't even have an umbrella. It's a good thing it went blue skies though before I got out of work, but the ground didn't dry in time, so I had to hoof it. As soon as the rain started to pour too, I heard so many sirens going off around the neighborhood. I guess even some residents, after living in The City for so long, still don't know how to drive in rain. Tards.

| Oh shnikeys. I saw that old lady. I SAW. THE OLD. LADY. The anti-me-skating around lady on Thursday was it? I don't know. All I remember is that I saw her at the corner of Geary, and I was already at the curb waiting for the light to change. She said something to me but I had my earbuds on so I just turned around and gave her the finger. Here I was hoping she off'd herself. OH WELL. I didn't do my job well enough apparently. I suppose I still need to do the Devil's work.
Also, yesterday at family dinner, my uncle and aunt gave me a red envelope..and I had no idea what it was for. Do you know what it was for? Because I sure forgot at that moment.

| What ever happens if you say, "No." I remember calling our current ISP (Speakeasy) and their hold music was so..so..annoying. Not to mention I had to listen to it for a good 20 minutes just to get ahold of billing. But all it was, was just a bell sound going ding ding ding ding that was on repeat..on..repeat. Today I called Sonic (our new ISP) because when the Sonic Techs came over last week, they said ATT never set up the line required for our Fusion, so they said they opened up a trouble ticket, and it would take ATT 2-3 days to do their thang, which they never did. Either of them. Sonic or ATT. So now there IS a trouble ticket open since it's been four days and now an ATT tech should be out either Friday or Monday..and now Sonic has my cell phone number, haha.
But yeaaaaah...Sonic has better hold music anyway. At first I heard some Middle Eastern themed song, then..elevator music. Ughhhh. I thought companies had known to never use elevator music again. What happened to using some nice classical or something from the oldies? But at least I wasn't put on hold for as long as Speakeasy was. I also totally forgot to thank the tech support lady. I feel kinda bad. On the plus side, I won't start getting bills for Fusion, until the service starts, so thank god for that.
Other than that, I love that it's rained..but I don't like how suddenly the sun decides to come out and be hot, warm up my room so it's so fucking uncomfortable in my room for the next few days. Ugh. Stupid sun. Go back to being rainy. I hate my rooms position. Always getting the toasty afternoon sun, and it's especially annoying when it's hot for days on end. If it's always cold in my room, I don't care. I have jackets for that.
